Adelaide Marriage Celebrant
WEDDING CEREMONIES
I am genuine, honest and adore love and relationships. I have a way of making people feel at ease, even in the most nerve wracking of situations.
If standing in the spot light makes you feel anxious, you can rest assured that my relaxed, fun, and bubbly presence will create a vibrant environment where everyone feels included.
I will calm your nerves and promise you that your ceremony will be full of love, laughs and confidence.
For me, love has no boundaries – love is love! I specialise in all wedding ceremonies and have been LGBTQIA+ friendly since before that was even an acronym!
WHAT'S INVOLVED
Choosing a celebrant is a personal business. You need to choose one that you feel comfortable with, connected to, and one that you trust to help you both remain calm and worry-free on the day.
You want to be fully present and focused on enjoying your special moment, not worrying about whether everything will go as planned. This is why I suggest an initial meeting – obligation free – for you to see if I’m the celebrant for you.
We can meet in a mutually convenient location and discuss your ideas for your big day. This will be an informal chat so that you can meet me and get to know me a little better before deciding to go ahead.
Please contact me to find out more.
THE NEXT STEPS...
Once you’ve decided that I will be your celebrant you will be required to pay a deposit to secure your date and we can book in the first official meeting. This is where we will begin the legal process and start your paperwork. This meeting will be at my home office in Woodcroft in the southern suburbs, or if you prefer, upon arrangement I can come to you. Your deposit secures my services for your date. No other booking will be taken on your chosen date unless there is clearly sufficient time to perform both ceremonies (as per my policies and procedures) Your booking, however, will have preference over any potential bookings.
At the first official meeting, we will also discuss your ceremony and any special inclusions you may wish to have. I will inform you of the legalities and ensure that the ceremony and the paperwork adhere to the legal requirements as per the Marriage Act and guidelines.
After the official meeting, we can organise any future meetings and/or a rehearsal at your venue if you wish. All of the meetings, correspondence, paperwork, and ceremonial preparation are inclusive of my fee. If your venue or your home (if I’m coming to you) is more than 50km away there may be travel costs incurred but this will be discussed with you at the time of booking.
Once the legal paperwork has been filled out and your ceremony has been prepared, all that is left to do is have a practice run (if you would like to) at your chosen venue. There is a form that will need to be filled out and signed by both of you prior to the ceremony, this can be done at the rehearsal or we can arrange a convenient time in the week or fortnight before your day. Your final payment is due no less than seven business days before your wedding date and can be paid by bank transfer.
Now that you have all of your legal paperwork done, your vows and ceremony have been prepared, and you have had a practice run, there is nothing left to do but get excited for the big day!
Enjoy getting ready but remember not to have too many drinks! Your special day is cause for much celebration but remember, the vows and the signing of the marriage certificate is a legal process and you need to be of sound mind for it to be legally recognised. I will be at your venue at least 30 minutes prior to your guests to set up and prepare myself and I will be on hand to calm your nerves and help you to enjoy the moment.
Being a part of your special day is an honour and a privilege. I look forward to helping you create the ceremony you will remember always.
